Indie-Authors need a good boost from fans in order to get proper recognition and maybe one day quit their day job. I’m once again reminding…and begging…readers to leave some 4-5 star reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Audible, Smashwords, etc to support my writing if you’ve loved the stories.
If you’ve been entertained, help me out, please. I have links below!
You see, 3-star reviews are considered “critical/bad” by Amazon, and drops an author’s presence in searches. Unfortunately, critics and trolls are always poised at the gates to downplay an author’s hard work. I revised one of my early books, but sadly, a critique tore it apart and such early reviews can leave a stain on a book’s growth forever.
I need your kind words and good reviews to push my books higher on the charts. I’m starting the convention season, investing in advertising, and I really need some stars and words to accompany it.
Anyways, the links are there. Please take the moment to throw 4-5 stars at me if you liked my work. You don’t need to type much: “Nice Story”, “Loved the characters”, “I will buy the next one”. It’s just a simple act, but it supports an indie-author as if you’d bought their work 2-3 times over. I can’t overstate how much a few good reviews can help us out. An author can sell a 1,000 books and entertain a lot of people, but a scant few ever take the time to spread a nice word. I get supportive fan mail and confidence boosters all the time, but if it isn’t out in a review site, no one else knows.
Even my freebie, “The Wooden Maiden”, can be reviewed.
Thank you for taking time out of your day to support my passion.
