Every author needs some dealings through Amazon to be recognized far and wide, but none of us want to see local bookstores added to the history books. (Think of those old video rental stores that you never see, all replaced by online or small kiosks.)
Any of my books can be ordered by a bookstore. If you happen to live in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, where I live, I can tell you of some that have signed copies stocked on their shelves right now. I’d been planning on a few local bookstore appearances, but the current virus scare has forced many businesses to cancel events. As of this writing, I still have an appearance listed at the local AZ Gallery in St Paul on April 18th, 6pm, but I can’t be sure if that will be canceled too. (My books aren’t on the shelves yet, but should be soon).
