Last weekend, Jan 7th 2017, I broadcast my 41st episode of “Swords Drawn, Guns Loaded”. I’ve been doing this action-packed video game show for Grievance Gaming since March 2015…so, going on 2 years soon! I have a small, but dedicated fan base who catch the live show with me, as well as offer up the views and likes on YouTube. I thank their enthusiasm!
It’s a mature show, due to the blood, language, and violence associated with many of these action games. I was inspired by Tomb Raider-type games, but I’ve also focused on FPS and other action-competitive games as well. I’ve spent a few shows on Tomb Raider games, Mad Max, Witcher 3, H1Z1, World of Tanks/Warships, Grand Theft Auto V and Fallout.
One guildmate, Creed, has bought 3 of the games I’ve showcased after he saw me playing them. I’ve also loved having some of my guildmates join me on different episodes, playing the games we love together!
So, the big 50th will be coming up before I realize it. I’m seriously thinking of throwing together a highlight video to show the best and worst moments in the show from the start. Might be a lot of work, but it’ll be worth it!
The show airs every other Saturday, 10pm CST-midnight, on https://www.twitch.tv/grievance . The next shows air Jan 28th, Feb 11th, Feb 25th, and so on! (In January I had to skip a weekend, but I’ll be back on track again)
