Locally, my Books on the Shelf at Chapter 2 Books, Hudson

I have to thank the folks at Chapter 2 Books in Hudson, Wi, for stocking copies of my books on their shelves! You can go there and purchase signed copies of “The Widow Brigade” and “Pilgrims with Blades”. Bill and Sue Rogge opened the store in 2011, and were also quick to support me with copies of the “Earthrin Stones” trilogy back then. They are still very supportive...

The Widow Brigade offered on ACX, Audiobook in the future!

(Click for a larger image) The process has begun on ACX to acquire “The Widow Brigade” in an audiobook form. More and more people are turning to audiobooks, listening to them on long trips and commutes, or maybe while resting on a hammock. (Am I the only one that keeps a hammock on his deck in the summer?) No idea when this project will finally come to fruition, but it’s now...

“Ripple” Effect of Convention Appearances

Since doing conventions, I’ve noticed a trend. Despite whatever sales I make, there’s usually still several people who accept my business cards. A person tends to wonder how much attention browsing customers spend on you once the convention is over. I watch my Kindle sales every few days, tracking the editions bought or the number of pages read from Kindle Unlimited books. I did...

How is the Writing Going?

How is the writing going? Have you sold many books? Do you make much money?   These are questions I get asked a lot by coworkers and family. I’m sure lots of fans would ask these same questions as well. I’m proud to say that I have sold more books than I’d ever realistically expect that I could without the backing of a major publisher. Every week I see more books go out. A number...

Revised Inheritance of a Sword and a Path sells 1,000th Copy!

I’ve been tracking the sales of books and just counted up some great news. The revised release of Inheritance of a Sword and a Path hit the sale of it’s 1,000th copy on Oct 9th. This is much better than sales during the 1st edition release. The overall reception on Amazon reviews has been pretty good too. These sales have been worldwide as well! I’ve sold quite a number in Australia...

Thousands of Kindle Pages read over 4th of July

Recently, Kindle changed how they reimburse books delivered to readers via Kindle Unlimited. Authors receive payments based on the amount of pages read, instead of copies sold. This has made tracking “sales” into a different beast.   The important news out of this, is I can see how many pages of my books are getting read through Kindle Unlimited on any given day. Keep in mind, normal...
